Monday: Ruth 3: 1-18
In this passage, Naomi asked Ruth My daughter shall i not seek rest or a home for you that you may prosper? When you see the man eat and drink, go and watch were he is to lay down and then once he is asleep, go and uncover his feet and lie down at his feet. Ruth did as she was told. The man was startled at midnight and asked who she was? she awnsered his questions and he told her that she was very blessed.
Tuesday: Ruth 4: 1-24
In this passage, Boaz then went up to the city's gate and there he sat down. Boaz took ten men of the elders to the town and told them to sit down here and so they did... Then they told him how Naomi's land had not been boughten. He told them that the day they buy the land, they also buy Ruth and Moabitess. And the elder said that he could not marry Moabitess because it would put his own inherritence in danger...
Wenesday: 1 Samuel 1: 1-28
In this passage, Ramathaim-zophim had two wives, Hannah and Peninnah, Peninnah had children but Hannah did not. This man went from his city year by year to worship and sacrafice to the Lord of hosts at Shiloh. When the day came that he sacraficed, he would give to his children and wife the meat of the sacraficed meat. But to Hannah, he gave her a double portion because he loved her and the Lord had given her no children... This made Hannah embarrassed and grieved because the Lord had left her childless...
Thursday: 1 Samuel 3: 1-21
In this passage, At that time Eli who was not able to see as clearly now was laying down in his own place. The lamp of God had not yet gone out in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of the God was and Samuel was laying down. When the Lord called to Samuel he ran to Eli and Eli told him that he did not call for him, to go back to sleep. Samuel heard the Lord call him a second time and Eli told him that it must be the Lord and that next time reply, "Yes my Lord, your servent is here."
Friday: 1 Samuel 8: 1-5
In this passage, Samuel was now old and made his sons judges over Israel. Now the name of his firstborn was Joel and the name of his second was Abijah. His sons did not walk in his ways, but turned aside after gain, took bribes, and perverted justice. All the elders of Israel came to Samuel and said to him, you are old and your sons do not walk in your ways,so why don't you give us a king to govern us...

Week 6: Bible Blog
Monday: Judges 15: 1-20
In the passage Deborah was a prophet who was judging Israel at that time and one day she sent for Barak and said "This is what the Lordcommands you to do..." Barak told her "i will go, but only if you go with me." Debroah said she would go with him but that he shall gain no victory over this, that it is only the Lords victory. So Debroah went with Barak and he called out the tribes of Zebulun and Naphtali and 10,000 warriors went up with him, as well as Debroah.
Tuesday: Judges 16: 22- 31
In the passage the israelites did evil in the Lords sight and so the Lord handded them over to the Midiantites for 7 years. They were so cruel to the Israelites that they made hiding places for themselves among the caves, rocks, trees,and strongholds. When the Israelites planted crops, they would take everything and leave them with nothing to eat or drink. The Israelites cried out to the Lord for help and mercy and the Lord sent a prophet to say "This is what the Lord says, I brought you up out of slavery in Egypt and I did many other things for you and yet you have refused to listen to a word I say." Then the angel of the Lord came and sat beaneath the great tree at Ophrah.
Wednesday: Judges 16:22-31
In the passage, Gideon and his army got up early and went as far as the spring of Harod. The armies of Misian were camped north of them in the valley near the hill of Moreh. The Lord said to Gideon, "you have too many warriors with you and if I let you all fight the Midianites, the Israelites will boast to me that they saved themselves by their own strength, Therefore; tell the people 'whoever is timid or afraid may leave this mountain.' and so with that 22,000 of them went home and they were left with 10,000 warriors. But than the Lord said to Gideon "there are sill to many! Bring them down to the spring and I will test them to determine who will go with you an =d who will not.

In this passage, Ruth did evil in the Lords eyes so the Lord handed them over to the Philistines who oppressed them for 40 years. int hose days, a man named Manoah from the Tribe of Dan lived in the town. His wife was unable to become pregnant, and they had no children. The angel of the Lord appeared to Manoah's wife and said, "Even though you have been unable to have chlidren,you will soon become pregnante and give birth to a son and his hair must Never be cut, for he will be dedicated to the Lord from birth.
Friday: Ruth 2: 1-23
In this passage, Samson wanted her because she looked good to him. As samson and his parents were going to get this beautiful woman a lion jumped In the passage one day when samson was in Timnah a woman caught his eye and he knew he wanted to marry her. His father and mother objected because she was a Philistine. They asked if there wasn't a woman of their own tribe that he could marry. But samson out and attacked samson and the Spirit of the Lord came upon him and he ripped its jaw off as if it were a baby goat. He found all types of food and was provided all the food he needed
