ReplyDeleteThis passage talks about Daniel and the writing on the wall. King Belshazzar gave a banquet for a thousand royal guests and drank wine with them. As Belshazzar was drinking his wine, he gave orders to bring the gold and silver cups that his ancestor Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the Temple in Jerusalem. He told them to bring them so that his royal guests. wives, and his slave women could drink from them. They all drfank from the cups. As they were drinking, they praised their gods, which were made from gold, silver, bronze, iron, wood, and stone.

ReplyDeleteThis passage talks about Daniel in the lions den. Darius thought it would be a good ideda to have 120 governors who would rule his kingdom. He chosed 3 men as supervisors over those 120 men. Daniel wasw one of the supervisors. They were to ensure that the governors did not try to cheat the king. Daniel showed that he could do the job better than all the supervisors and governors, so the king planned to put Daniel in charge of the whole kingdom.

ReplyDeleteIn this passage Jonah was running from God. God put a storm upon the ship he was on. He told them to through him in the sea to calm it. Then a huge fish swallowed him. In the fish Jonah prayed to God. The Lord commanded the fish to vomit Jonah. Joah landed on dry land. I don't remember the last time I tried to avoid what God wanted me to do. I know I have done it before, but I can't remember the last time i did.. I believe everyone has done it at least once...

ReplyDeleteToday in my Bible reading, the voice of God came to Jonah and he sadi that he needed to go to Nineveh. This time Jonah listened and went. the city was very big so it took three days for him to get to where he needed to be. I think that i complain about everything to God. I do not mean to complain, but sometimes i feel like he is the only person that i can really talk to and i know that he really inderstands. It helps me to get alot of things off of my chest and helps me not to keep any anger or grief in my heart.
